Solitaire: classic Klondike, every deal winnable
The card game everyone knows: build the four suits from ace to king. Draw one or draw three, unlimited undo, and a solver has won every one of the 1,200 deals first, so you never get a hopeless one. Harder deals open as your rating climbs. No ads, no sign-up.

How to play Solitaire
- Move all 52 cards onto the four foundations, each suit in order from ace to king.
- In the seven columns, put a card on one a rank higher in the other colour (a black 8 on a red 9). A run of open cards moves together, and moving it turns up the card underneath.
- Only a king, with any run on it, may go into an empty column.
- Tap the stock to turn cards onto the waste: one at a time on Easy to Hard, three at a time from Expert. When it runs out, tap again to go round.
Controls
- Tap a card to send it to the best place: home to its foundation if it can go, otherwise onto a column.
- Drag a card, or a run of cards, to exactly where you want it.
- Undo as often as you like, Restart the same deal, or ask for a Hint. Once every card is open, the rest fly home by themselves.
How to win more at Klondike
1. Turn up face-down cards first
Every hidden card is a card you can't plan with. Prefer moves that uncover one, and start with the columns that hide the most.
2. Don't empty a column without a king to fill it
An empty column only takes a king. Clear one when a king is ready to move in and free something useful by it.
3. Don't rush cards home
Aces and twos can always go up. Higher cards may still be needed in the columns to hold cards of the other colour, so keep them back until they are safe.
4. Know the stock
With draw three only every third card is in reach. Playing one card from the waste shifts the rest, so a card you couldn't reach last time round may come up next time.
Deals and difficulty
| Tier | Stock | Deals |
|---|---|---|
| Easy | Draw 1 | Friendly: the natural moves win |
| Medium | Draw 1 | Some wrong turns |
| Hard | Draw 1 | Many wrong turns |
| Expert | Draw 3 | Friendly |
| Master | Draw 3 | Some wrong turns |
| Extreme | Draw 3 | Many wrong turns |
Every deal was played to a win by a solver before it shipped, and graded by how many blind alleys the solver had to back out of. Difficulty adapts to you: each finished game updates your rating, the next deal is picked around it, and the harder tiers open as your rating climbs.

Solitaire questions
Is this the classic Klondike solitaire?
Yes. Seven columns, a stock and four foundations, the rules most people know as Solitaire or Patience. Draw 1 on the easier tiers, draw 3 from Expert, and you can go through the stock as often as you like.
Can every deal be won?
Yes. A solver plays every deal through to a win before it ships, so there is always a way. If you get stuck, undo, deal the same cards again, or ask for a hint.
How do harder deals open?
Solitaire rates your play like a chess rating. Each finished game moves it up or down and the next deal is picked around it. Trickier draw 1 deals open first, then draw 3 as your rating climbs.
How do the stars work?
Win without hints inside the par time for three stars; a slower win or one hint earns two, more hints one.
Can I play Solitaire offline?
Yes. After the first visit it works with no connection. Add it to your home screen to use it like an app — here's how.
