Support

Something not working, an idea for a puzzle, or a question about your data? Write to hello@gooby.in. We read everything and usually reply within a few days.

Reporting a problem

It helps to tell us the game, the difficulty, your phone or computer, and what you expected to happen. A screenshot is even better. Each game also has a how-to-play sheet behind the ? button.

Moving your games to a new phone

  1. On the old phone, open Gooby › Settings › Backup and note your restore code (tap it to copy).
  2. On the new phone, install Gooby, open Settings › Backup › Restore on this phone and enter the code.

Your finished games and settings come across. Keep the code somewhere safe: it is the only key to your backup, and we cannot look it up for you.

Deleting your data

Gooby has no accounts. Your games are backed up under a random restore code, and anonymous usage counts expire on their own after three months (see the privacy policy).

  • Delete your backup: e-mail hello@gooby.in with the subject "Delete my Gooby data" and your restore code. We delete every game and setting stored under that code within 30 days and reply to confirm.
  • Delete what's on your device: uninstall the app, or clear its data (Android: Settings › Apps › Gooby › Storage › Clear storage). In a browser, clear the site data for gooby.in.
